Join the Friends of Thomas Dunn Memorials!
The Friends extend our deep appreciation to all members for their outstanding support of this not-forprofit
organization, committed to St. Louis adults who are seeking to enrich their lives or work status.
Not only do the Friends support the maintenance of the facility, but we also sponsor “Friends Gift to
Learning” classes at little or no cost.
Why join the Friends?
• You and a guest will be eligible for free or discounted entry to special events and trips.
• You will be invited to Friends-only appreciation events.
• You will receive The Beacon News bi-annually.
• You will be a part of something you believe in – people making choices to enrich their lives or
work status.
Your membership fee is tax deductible, as are any donations made to our fund-raising events.
Membership does not require any work or meeting attendance. Friends are welcome to participate as
much or as little as they choose.
Some of the Friends improvement projects already completed include:
• New roof over Library
• Handicapped access
• Flag poles and maintenance of flags
• Learning Center garden plantings
• New carpeting
The majority of our funding comes from people like you, through your membership donations. If you
have attended any of the classes or trips offered through the Thomas Dunn Memorials Adult
Education Program, please come lend a supportive hand through your membership in the Friends
organization.
