Photographer Naomi Runtz is passionate about her craft. She enjoys snapping photographs, watching them develop in the darkroom or on a computer screen, selecting the ideal images and printing them on complementary papers. Naomi has exhibited for the past 30 years locally, nationally and internationally. The photographs in this exhibit were taken during her travels to Italy, Turkey and France. In her Italian series, Naomi has captured the beauty of the Mediterranean in hues of sienna, ochre and terracotta. By printing the images on Somerset watercolor paper, she has achieved a soft, painterly effect.
